The Syosset High School Girls Tennis team wrapped up another undefeated regular season on Friday with a 6-1 victory over Oceanside. Their only loss of the day came via an injury from a member of their fourth doubles team resulting in a forfeit. Syosset was missing their number one singles player, Vivian Cheng and had to make due with a restructured lineup. All of the players displayed their versatility and moved around a bit, but still put in a strong effort for the Lady Braves. Rithika Reddy led the way, moving into the first singles spot with a decisive victory over Oceanside's Mara Stewart, 6-1 6-2.

"It was a great season and we steadily improved as the season went along," said Syosset Head Coach Larry Levane. "Some of our girls do not know what it's like to lose, and I tell them all the time that doesn't mean they can let their guard down. We're heading into the playoffs and this is where the competition really heats up."

The Syosset Lady Braves will play their first playoff match on Tuesday afternoon at home. Winning players for Syosset included:

►1st Singles: Rithika Reddy 6-1, 6-2
