Sabrina Ferretti of Ward Melville and Aimee Manfredo of Shoreham Wading River won the Conference III and the Conference IV individual singles titles yesterday. Ferretti defeated second-seeded Victoria Makulik of Patchogue-Medford in three tough sets 6-4, 5-7, 6-2 to claim the Conference III title, while Manfredo had an easier time winning the Conference IV championship in straight sets, 6-1, 6-1, over Jackie Bukzin of Eastport-South Manor.
The Conference III Doubles championship went to Ward Melville's team of Grace Molino & Caitlin Favely. They knocked off the second-seeded Kelly Napolitano & Kaitlyn Loh of Mt. Sinai 6-4, 6-2. The Conference IV Doubles title was won by Floyd's duo of Kelsey Henn & Lisa Lin, upsetting the top-seeded team of Daniella Dunphy & Jillian Neubert of East Hampton, 6-3, 7-5.
