Syosset 5, Great Neck South 2

The Braves won its season opener thanks to Will Chantemsin & Aayan Mehta, who won 7-5, 6-1 at fourth doubles.

Locust Valley 7, Oyster Bay 0

At first doubles, Matthias Bressel & Kyle Kalendarian edged out a 7-6(6), 6-2 win to anchor Locust Valley’s victory.


 

South Side 4, Lynbrook 3

South Side won three of four doubles flights, and Matt Young won 6-2, 6-2 at third singles to lead the Cyclones past Lynbrook.


 

Port Washington 4, Plainview 2

Amir Pazy won 6-1, 6-3 at second singles to clinch the win for Port Washington.


 

Massapequa 4, Mepham 3

Massapequa got victories from senior co-captains Jonathan Lerman, who won 6-4, 6-3 at second singles, and Sean Kuitwaard, who won 6-2, 6-7(2), 7-5 at third singles.


 

Long Beach 6, Wantagh 1

Nicholas Arapas & Dwight Prafder came back to win 5-7, 6-2, 6-4 at first doubles to clinch Long Beach’s win.


 

Friends Academy 4, Great Neck North 3

Friends Academy won three of the four doubles flights including a 6-4, 7-6(5) victory from Pierce Hirschfield & Michael Fiechter at third doubles.


 

Wheatley 6, Herricks 1

Kavin Shukla and Saje Menon won at first and third singles, respectively, to lead Wheatley.


 

Carey-Sewanhaka 5, Levittown Division 2

Torsten Gliszczynski & Jame Goodwin won at first doubles as Carey-Sewanhaka scored an opening day victory.


 

Manhasset 6, Hicksville 1

Zakaria Ahmed won 6-3, 6-0 at second singles as Manhasset defeated Hicksville.


 

Malverne-East Rockaway 4, MacArthur 3

Malverne-East Rockaway edged MacArthur as Raymond Cecere hung on to win 6-2, 6-7(3), 7-6(4) at third singles.


 

Valley Stream North 6, Carle Place 1

Abdul Rao & Habib Rattani came back to win 2-6, 6-3, 7-5 at second doubles to lead Valley Stream North to the victory.


 

Hewlett 5, North Shore 2

Hewlett swept the three singles flights and got a key victory from Justin Valentine & Ryan Weinman at second doubles to win its season opener.


 

Bethpage 6, Clarke 1

Paul Portugal and Patrick Dircks won at second and third singles, respectively, as Bethpage defeated Clarke.


 

Farmingdale 5, Glen Cove 2

Farmingdale edged Glen Cove in a close match, helped by Manav Deshmukh’s 4-6, 6-4, 6-3 comeback victory at second singles.


 

Garden City 4, Cold Spring Harbor 3

Dylan Coonerty held on to win 7-6(5), 1-6, 6-4 at first singles as Garden City edged Cold Spring Harbor.


 

East Meadow 4, Valley Stream Central 3

At third doubles, Hashir Qaiser & Sammy Abrons fought back to win 6-7(10), 6-2, 6-1 to help lead East Meadow to the victory.


 

Calhoun 5, Bellmore 2

Calhoun won its season opener as Brian Ren & Noah Horn came back to win 4-6, 6-1, 7-5 at third doubles.


 

Roslyn 6, Jericho 1

Drew Hassenbein, Ethan Solop and Gavin Koo won at first, second and third singles, respectively, to lead Roslyn to the season-opening victory.


 

Lawrence 7, Uniondale 0

Sebastian Ortiz & Fabian Cisneros were 6-0, 2-6, 6-2 winners at first doubles to anchor Lawrence’s victory.


 

Baldwin 5, Freeport 2

Nico Rios & Fritz Dufresne won 2-6, 6-2, 6-4 at fourth doubles to lead Baldwin. 

 


 

Commack 7, Happaugue 0

Matt Strogach notched a 6-3, 6-2 first singles victory to lead Commack.
