Roslyn won all three singles flights, and Justin Sherman & Matthew Stone came back to win 1-6, 6-4, 6-3 at second doubles as the Bulldogs edged the Vikings.

“The key to our comeback victory was staying mentally tough and locked in,” said Sherman. “We didn’t let the crowd distract us, we knew what we needed to do and we did it. It was a great match on both sides and we loved the energy.”

The pairing used the energy and motivation from their teammates to help complete their comeback.

“Our team’s energy and cheering really helped motivate us when we were down,” added Stone. “Our team is a family and we always pick each other up.”

Roslyn also got comeback victories from Drew Hassenbein, who won 1-6, 7-5, 6-2 at first singles, and Ethan Solop, who won 4-6, 7-6(4), 6-2 at second singles, to help secure the victory.
