Great Neck North became the first team to advance to the Nassau County semifinals after posting a 4-3 victory over Friends Academy on Wednesday.

Damien Chafe fought back from a set down to win 5-7, 6-4, 6-2 at first singles to clinch the win for the Blazers. Up next is a matchup against the winner of Syosset and Great Neck South.

Syosset secured its spot in the quarterfinals by downing Lynbrook 7-0 on Wednesday. Brian Gao clinched his team’s victory by notching a 6-1, 6-0 win at second singles.

The Roslyn Bulldogs secured the final quarterfinals spot by beating Herricks 7-0, advancing into a matchup with Plainview. Mikey Weitz clinched the Roslyn win by winning 6-0, 6-1 in the top singles position.

The winner of Roslyn-Plainview will face the winner of Port Washington-Cold Spring Harbor in the semifinals.

In Suffolk County, Commack remained undefeated by defeating Harborfields 5-2. Rohan Surana & Avi Gupta helped seal the win with a 6-3, 1-6, 10-8 triumph at fourth doubles. The Cougars now finish the regular season at 13-0.

Northport notched a 7-0 victory against Elwood-John Glenn. Andrew Becker led the way with a 6-4, 7-6(4) win at fourth singles.

In a battle between cross-town rivals, Hills East knocked off Hills West 5-2 as Michael Han & Atreya Rawat 7-6(4), 6-1 at first doubles.
