Port Washington Beats Cold Spring Harbor to Win Sixth Straight Match

Port Washington won its sixth straight match over the weekend, beating Cold Spring Harbor 6-1 to improve to 6-1 on the season and take over first place in Nassau County’s Conference I.

Seventh grader Thea Rabman notched a huge win at first singles, beating Maddie Richmond 6-4, 6-2 to lead the way for Port Washington. The Vikings would go on to win the other two singles flights, and took home victories at second, third and fourth doubles to seal the win.

The win puts Port Washington just above Great Neck North for first place in Nassau’s top conference. The two schools will face off against one another on Monday afternoon.
