Recently, I’ve been watching many local webinars about the state of the industry, and I was reminded about my days back in elementary and junior high school about what makes a good group project presentation:

  1. It should have a coherent central theme.
  2. The theme should be introduced.
  3. It should be presented in a logical order so that one presentation topic builds on the last.
  4. It should adhere to the topic.
  5. It should provide solutions.
  6. It should avoid statements of the obvious
  7. The presenters should come prepared.
  8. The presenters should adhere to the presentation and the facts.
  9. The presenters should avoid sidetracks to banter, personal agenda and self-congratulation.
  10. The presenters should speak clearly and try to “connect” with the audience.
